Gardaí have released without charge a man being questioned over the disappearance of a Dundalk teenager 18 years ago.
Ciara Breen was 17 when she went missing from Bachelors Walk in Dundalk, in the early hours of February 13th 1997.
A man aged in his 50s was arrested yesterday morning, after new information came to light about the case.
He has been released from Drogheda garda station this morning, and a file is being prepared for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
Gardaí are again appealing to anyone who might have information about Ciara's disappearance to come forward.
