A US man who was dribbling a football from Seattle to Brazil in time for the 2014 World Cup has been killed after he was hit by a truck.
42-year-old Richard Swanson was just two weeks into his journey when the accident ocurred in Lincoln City, Oregon.
Swanson, who had recently lost his job, was trying to raise money for the One World Futbol Project, which donates footballs to developing countries.
He had set off on his journey two weeks ago and intended to travel through 11 countries in North, Central and South America.
In a YouTube video, which you can watch below, Swanson explained the inspiration behind his trip.
After losing his job as a graphic designer, he admitted that he was finding things tough.
He explained that he had always dreamed of going to the World Cup, but instead of walking there, he chose the symbolic way of dribbling a ball to Brazil...
