A man who was assaulted earlier this month has been found dead at a house in Dublin.

The 55-year-old’s body was found at a house off the Navan Road this morning.

Gardaí said he had been assaulted in the area on Thursday November 14^th.

That attack is still under investigation and no arrests have yet been made.

The body has been removed from the scene and a postmortem is due to be carried out tomorrow.

Gardaí said the result of the exam will determine the course of the investigation.
