A man has died after an alleged assault at a house in Dublin this afternoon.
Gardaí said it happened at a house in Blanchardstown at around 4pm this morning.
A man aged in his 40s was taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
A second man and a woman, both in their 20s have been taken to the Mater Hospital with serious injuries.
Gardaí said they are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident at his time.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and a post-mortem is due to be carried out tomorrow.
Gardaí said the results will direct the course of their investigation.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who was in the Ashfield Park area between 12pm and 4pm this afternoon to contact them.
They are particularly interested in speaking to drivers who were in the area and may have camera footage.
