A man in his 30s has been charged in connection with the death of a woman in County Meath over the weekend.

The body of 30-year-old Ioana Mihaela Pacala was discovered at an apartment in Ratoath on Saturday.

She was originally from Romania and had only moved into the apartment the previous week.

A man aged in his 30s has now been charged and is due to appear before Trim District Court this morning.

Investigations are ongoing.
