A man has been arrested in the UK after another man was reportedly hit with a bowling ball which had been thrown out a window.
The incident happened in the Bilborough suburb of Nottingham at around 9:20am on Monday morning.
A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he's now said to be in a stable condition.
Police said a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, and remains in custody this morning.
Nottinghamshire Police Detective Sergeant Simon Carter said: “I understand that incidents such as this one can be concerning for the community, but I would like to reassure local people that our specialist teams were quickly on the scene to ensure no one else was at risk."
He added that authorities believe it was an "isolated incident".
