Australians are known to be fond of a few beers, and given the warm climate, it's not surprising that beer coolers ('eskys' in the local lingo) are ubiquitous down under.

So much so that some people have taken to driving them around!

A 22 year-old was stopped while driving down a road in Perth on Friday night on one of these cooled contraptions. Police judged that the vehicle was a danger to other motorists and that the man was under the influence of alcohol, promptly arresting him.

The esky-mobiles are available on line for around €380 and have been involved in a number of similar incidents in the past, the Telegraph reports. In March, a 3 year-old was chardeg with driving one on a bike path while intoxicated; and in August 2011, a 23 year-old had his license suspended for nine months for driving an sky after drinking.
