A man has been arrested in Co Monaghan in connection with an ongoing investigation into the theft of ATMs in the east and northwest of the country.
The suspect - aged in his late 20s and with an address in the north - was arrested in Castleblaney yesterday and taken to Monaghan Garda Station for questioning.
Today, a follow-up search was carried out by the PSNI in the Crossmaglen area of Co Armagh.
It came as part of Joint Agency Task Force efforts.
The task force involve agencies on both sides of the border - such as the gardaí, PSNI, Revenue, CAB and the UK's National Crime Agency - co-operating "across a range of policing areas".
