Gardaí investigating a fatal collision in Wexford last month have arrested a man.

An 81-year-old man died when the car he was driving was involved in a collision with a second vehicle on the N11 at Ballylough in Ferns on the 12th of January.

The man - who is in his 30s - was arrested in the Wicklow Town area this morning.

He is currently detained at Enniscorthy Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
