A man in his 70s has died following a tragic incident at his home in Ballyneety, Co Limerick.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene after he was struck by a van that was reversing at the property at around 4:30pm.
The man’s son, who was driving the van at the time, was being comforted by family at their home following the incident.

The deceased man's body has been removed to University Hospital Limerick.
A post-mortem will be carried out which will determine the course of the investigation, gardaí said.
Enquiries are ongoing, but gardaí are treating the incident as a tragic accident.
