Gardaí have seized cocaine worth more than €750,000 in Dublin.

A 36-year-old man has been arrested after gardai stopped a vehicle on the Tallaght by-pass at around 6.15pm yesterday evening.

He is being held at Tallaght Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act 1996.

The cocaine seized is believed to have a street value of €770,000.

The investigation was carried out by officers attached to the Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau, supported by gardaí from the Tallaght District.
