Gardai have seized cocaine and heroin worth €360,000 after the search of a house in Ballyfermot in Dublin.

A 39 year old man has been arrested and a large quantity of cash and a number of guns have also been seized.

Gardai arrested the man after they stopped and searched a car in the Clondalkin area of Dublin on Monday afternoon.

In a follow up search in Ballyfermot 3 kilo's of cocaine and 1 kilo of heroin was discovered.  3 sub machine guns, a pistol and ammunition were also recovered during the search.

The arrested man remains in  custody at Clondalkin Garda Station.
