Independent TD Lucinda Creighton has hinted that a new political party may form in time for the General Elections.

But the former Minister of State for Fine Gael says she is not involved in any discussions regarding the issue.

Now a member of the Reform Alliance after being expelled from Fine Gael in July 2013 for voting against the government on the abortion legislation - she has faced mounting speculation that the group of TDs are to form a new political party.
