Sinn Féin Leader Gerry Adams has admitted to being a big Garth Brooks fan, and even sang a few lines from his favourite Brooks tune for Newstalk.

Adams told Newstalk his favourite Brooks track is “If tomorrow never comes”, and jumped at the chance to sing a few bars, even if he did need Newstalk reporter Zara King to help him along with some of the lyrics:
