This week Lexus released an image of the LF-SA concept car they will be unveiling in Geneva this March. The image gives very little away and motoring fans are guessing what this vehicle will be in competition with. So far some are saying that it is likely that the vehicle will be a rival for the likes of the Audi A1 or the MINI. Others are making comparisons with the BMW X4 or the Mercedes GLE.

Personally I’m in agreement with the compact city car theories. There have been rumours circulating recently that Lexus is pondering the smaller car market. In a statement from Lexus they tell us that with the LF-SA concept vehicle they intend on exploring unexpected territories in a “bold and emotional execution”. Lexus to date don’t produce a B-segment car, so this could be seen as a “bold” move.
