A Labour TD will present a bill on fatal foetal abnormalities to the Dail tomorrow.
The bill, which has been drafted by the Clare Labour TD Michael McNamara, would allow for a termination of pregnancy in cases of fatal foetal abnormalities.
At the moment pregnant women who don't want to carry to term, must travel abroad to obtain a termination for medical reasons.
It is not yet known known if the bill will pass a process to be eventually debated during private members time in Leinster House.
Last month, a bill on fatal foetal abnormalities by the Independent TD Clare Daly, failed to pass a vote through the Dail.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny said he had voted against Deputy Daly's bill because it was unconstitutional. The Labour party also voted against the bill, citing their fear it was unconstitutional.
