The magician is back with his upcoming tour, including live shows in Wexford, Wicklow, Sligo and Dublin.
Keith Barry joined The Anton Savage Show for card tricks and more ahead of his upcoming tour, Unhinged: 25 Years Inside Your Minds.
He told Anton he was excited about performing in large venues, such as the 3-Arena.
“The bigger the audience, the more energy I give,” he admitted.

'Unhinged': What to expect
When explaining what to expect on his upcoming tour, he said, “This is not your normal Keith Barry show.”
Barry will be pulling out old favourites, including a hypnosis act.
“I havn't done hypnosis in ten years... It's going to be the biggest hypnosis act Ireland has ever seen.”
Keith noted that his father, who passed away at the start of this year, told him before he died, “Keith, go back and do weird stuff.”
“He loved all the dark stuff that I did, like 17 years ago,” Barry explained.
Which is exactly what he is doing:
“Just to be clear... he didn't believe in an afterlife... and I don't believe I can contact him, but in his honour, I'm bringing the ashes of my dad on tour,” he told the show.
Keiths early career
“I started [doing magic] when I was five,” said Keith.
At 14 and 15 years of age, the magician began to hone his skills and develop his talents.
“I started as a magician, then I started to learn psychology and then I learned hypnosis; and now I do it all,” he said.
“Some of what I do is trickery, some of what I do is absolutely real.”
When asked if he can 'turn off' his mind, Barry admitted he sometimes finds it difficult to switch off.
“It gets exhausting trying to read people and hack brains... So when I’m down at the pub, I’m just one of the lads,” he explained.
“I am normal behind the scenes... somewhat,” Barry added.
Barry has performed more extreme stunts in the past for his RTÉ show, The Keith Barry Experience.

“I was hanging upside down in RTÉ studios... I was in a straitjacket with my head wrapped in cling film and my body covered in chains,” he told Anton.
When faced with multiple injuries as a result of these dangerous acts, Barry admitted he is can no longer keep it up.
"I ripped cartilage on my rib cage that day" he said. "I'm banged up from all those things."
However, this does not mean that his shows will be in anyway tame, revealing that he will not be holding back on stage:
"There's a scorpion in the live show going into my mouth with my hands tied around my back," ensuring not to deprive his audience of any excitement.
