Ivan Yates is returning to Newstalk.

The former Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry will co-present the Breakfast show with Chris Donoghue from next Wednesday September 4th.

The move was announced at the launch of Newstalk's Autumn Schedule today, which also sees Pat Kenny taking over the mid morning slot from 10am - 12.30pm.

Ivan Yates will discuss his 16 months in Wales and his emergence from bankruptcy on Pat Kenny's first show tomorrow morning.
