An Irish man has reportedly been found dead with stab wounds in an apartment in Turkey.
The 64-year-old man is said to have been found at an apartment in the Bodrum resort in the Aegean province of Mugla, Turkish media reports.
Police are said to have been contacted after neighbours saw a bloodied knife outside the building.
According to Hurrieyet Daily News, initial examinations revealed a struggle occurred before the man's death.
An autopsy will take place at a medical facility in the city of Mugla.
The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that they are providing consular assistance to the family of an Irish citizen who died in Turkey.
