This year’s Irish Examiner Food Festival kicks off in Cork this afternoon.

15 of Cork’s best restaurants will be dishing out free samples and there will be demonstrations from some of the country’s top chefs – including Rachel and Darina Allen and Paolo Tullio.

As well as the food stalls – there will be musical entertainment and a kids zone.

Organiser Philip Ryan said they’re hoping to attract over 10,000 visitors.
