A bill on Irish neutrality is set to be debated in the Dáil today.
It will affirm Ireland as a neutral state, and ensure that Shannon Airport is no longer used as a pitstop for US troops.
A vote on the legislation will take place on Tuesday.

A similar bill was voted for by Sinn Fein and the Labour Party in 2003, but failed to pass.
The Peace and Neutrality Alliance are supporting the bill - citing a RedC poll from 2013, which shows 78% of people support a policy of neutrality.
Their chairperson is Roger Cole.
