Ireland has failed to make it to the final of this year's Eurovision song contest in Vienna.

17 year old Molly Sterling from Co. Tipperary performed in the competition's the second semi-final earlier tonight.

Ireland was up against 17 other countries to win a place in Saturday's final - only 10 qualified.
