Gardai are examining CCTV footage taken from inside a south Dublin pub as part of their investigation into a shooting overnight. A doorman is recovering in hospital after being shot during the attack.
It all happened in the space of a few chaotic minutes inside the Sallynoggin Inn at around 1am this morning.
The gunman had been drinking at the south Dublin pub and it is understood he opened fire at a group who were dancing in the bar.
He quickly fled the scene, but fired one more shot back towards the pub as he left hitting a security worker in the stomach.
The doorman (45) was rushed to St. Vincent's Hospital where his injuries are described as non-life threatening.
The gunman is still at large but gardai have harvested CCTV footage from both inside and outside the pub in the hope of identifying him.
