An investigation has been launched after an axe was used during a fight in Dublin city.

Three people were taken to hospital following the incident in the Windmill Lane/Creighton Street area at around 2.00pm on Tuesday.

They were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Footage shows a bicycle being thrown at a man, while another man is hit in the head with a hatchet.

Gardaí say it was an altercation between a group of youths, while no arrests have been made.

Officers say an investigation is ongoing.
