Independent TDs Catherine Murphy, Róisín Shortall, and Stephen Donnelly will officially launch their new 'political venture' today.

The three TDs released a short statement at the weekend, confirming they have been engaged in ongoing discussions over the last number of months.

Following weeks of speculation on the issue, they say they're excited to give voters a "new, credible political choice".

The TDs have so far remained tight-lipped on the details, but all is expected to be revealed at today's launch in Dublin.
