Everyone’s favourite place to confirm that actor was once in that thing, the Internet Movie Database – better known as the IMDb – is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary, and is marking the milestone by sharing a list of the top rated film for every year it’s been online.
Compiled from millions of votes by movie lovers from 1990 to 2014, the list includes a number of surprise selections that proved popular with viewers at the time, but perhaps have not stood the test of time. Given current polling, the IMDb believes that the top film of 2015 will be Disney Pixar’s Inside Out.
