The HSE has launched an investigation into the death of a baby at Cavan General Hospital last month.
The hospital has confirmed that a clinical incident occurred on Saturday 26th April.
Cavan General Hospital has extended it's deepest sympathy to the family.

Management at the hospital has met with the family and say they will continue to keep them informed of the ongoing investigation.
