The Rose of Tralee hopefuls have gathered in Kerry ahead of tonights Parade of Roses.

Over 30,000 people are expected to turn out this evening to see the 32 International Roses.

They will also be joined by the reigning Rose of Tralee Maria Walsh and presenter of the Rose of Tralee Daithi O'Sé.

Yesterday saw the beginning of the three day festival with the International Rose Ball, which took place in the Festival Dome.

Queensland Rose Niamh Healy, who grew up in Dublin and Mayo, has found the experience of the Festival very emotional.
