Heroin worth €420,000 has been seized in Clondalkin, Co Dublin.

One man has been arrested after the discovery, which was made at around 4.30 yesterday evening.

The drugs were found after gardaí stopped and searched a car.

A man (35) was arrested at the scene and taken to Lucan garda station.
