There were rowdy scenes in the Dáil over the arrest of anti-water protesters in Dublin, after a Socialist Party TD appeared to refer to gardaí as "dogs".
Chief whip Paul Kehoe took issue with the remarks and will now make a complaint to the Dáil's procedural and disciplinary committee.
Gardaí today arrested a further five people in connection with a protest in Jobstown in Dublin last November in which the Tánaiste was trapped in her car for more than two hours.
The two juveniles and the adults were detained in early morning raids this morning and brings to 17 the number of people questioned so for this week in connection with the incident.
The Tánaiste was called on in the Dáil to condemn what was described as 'political interference'.
