Defence evidence has concluded in Graham Dwyer's trial for the alleged murder of childcare worker Elaine O'Hara.

It took less than 30 minutes for the three witnesses to give their testimony.

The architect of Kerrymount Close, Foxrock denies murdering the 36-year-old at Killakee mountain in Dublin on August 22nd 2012.

The first witness called was Mary Crosbie. In her evidence she said she recalls 'quite clearly' visiting her mother's grave at Shanganagh cemetery between 5 and 5.30pm on the day of the alleged murder, because August 22nd is the anniversary of her mother's death.

She has told the Central Criminal Court that while walking back to the car park, she saw a 'biggish' woman, with mousey hair and casual clothes, face down and crying very loudly at the edge of the graves.

She said it was all very strange and after reading newspaper reports about Elaine O'Hara's remains being found in the Dublin mountains she contacted gardaí.

The jury has already heard that Elaine O'Hara's mother was buried at Shanganagh cemetery, and that she was last seen alive by a jogger near there before 6pm on the evening of her disappearance.

The defence also called two sheep farmers with land beside model flying clubs in Roundwood and Shankill. They couldn't recall any dead sheep being found on their lands, around April 2011.

Prosecution alleges Mr Dwyer was in a BDSM relationship with the childcare worker, and that he killed her for his own sexual gratification.

After eight weeks all the evidence has concluded in the trial, and tomorrow the jury will begin hearing closing speeches from the prosecution and then the defence.
