Garth Brooks has cancelled all five of his scheduled concerts in Croke Park.

Aiken Promotions, the GAA and Dublin City Council have been scheduled for a hearing in the near future at the Oireachtas Tourism committee.

Managing Director of MCD concert promotions Denis Desmond told Newstalk Lunchtime that Brooks should have gone ahead with the three concerts saying "You don't cancel shows"

Denis brought Westlife, U2 and One Direction to Croke Park. He spoke to John Keogh on Newstalk Lunchtime about planning laws and how much organisation goes into bringing an international act to an Irish venue.
