Gardai are still trying to identify a man found burnt to death in a sleeping bag in the Phoenix Park in Dublin in the early hours of yesterday morning.

His body was found near the Wellington Monument in the Park.

Gardai are working with homeless agencies to try and identify the man and are appealing for help from the public.

A murder investigation is underway.
