Four men have been arrested after gardai seized drugs - with an estimated street value of €200,000 - in county Galway.

It follows the search of a house at Bornacurra in Ballygar this afternoon.

Gardaí discovered a quantity of cannabis plants and cannabis growing paraphernalia.

Four men - aged 27, 31, 34 and 52 -were arrested at the scene.

They are being detained at Loughrea and Ballinasloe Garda Stations.
