Gardai say they have significantly disrupted dissident republican activity following a major arms seizure in Dublin.
The weapons, ammunition and explosives were discovered during a planned search of containers in a yard at Cloghran last week.
The haul includes automatic pistols, a sub machine gun, double barrel shotguns, a silencer and 15 kilograms of semtex.
8 out of 9 people arrested in connection with the find were charged at the Special Criminal Court. The seizure was one of the largest ever.
Garda spokesperson is Superintendent David Taylor. He says the seizure will put a dent in the operations of dissidents.
