Two men have been arrested after more than €72,000 worth of cocaine was uncovered at a house in County Meath.

Gardaí carried out the search at a house in Slane as part of Operation Stratus, which targets organised crime in Drogheda and the surrounding areas.

Investigators seized cocaine worth around €72,300.

Two men, one in his early 20s and the other in his early 30s, were arrested and taken to Drogheda Garda Station.

They remain in custody and the investigation is continuing.
