Gardai have renewed their appeals for information over alleged serious assault in Co Wexford.

Three young girls were allegedly sexually assaulted in the attack.

The incident's believed to have happened in the Burrow area of Courtown Harbour at around 12:15am on Sunday July 28th.

Gardai have issued a number of appeals for information in connection with the case and have spoke to a number of witnesses.

They're now looking to speak to a man who's understood to have come to the assistance of the three girls on the night.

They're also appealing for anyone else who has information and hasn't yet come forward to contact them at Gorey Garda Station on 053 943 0690 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.

Investigations are ongoing.
