Gardaí have seized €85,000 worth of cocaine in a drugs crackdown in west Dublin.

Officers found the cocaine when they stopped and searched a car at Neilstown Gardens yesterday afternoon.

Two 18-year-old men who had been in the car at the time were arrested.

One was charged this afternoon and bailed to appear at Blanchardstown District Court next month.

The other was released without charge late last night and a file will be prepared for the DPP.
