Gardaí renew appeal for witnesses to serious assault in Dublin last month

Gardaí are renewing their appeal for witnesses to a serious assault in Dublin City that happened in June.

Shortly before 8am on the morning of June 13th, two men became involved in an altercation around the junction of St James Walk/Reuben St in Dublin 8.

A 26-year-old man suffered life threatening injuries in the assault. He has since been released from hospital.

A 33-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and detained at Kilmainham Garda station.

He was later released without charge.

Gardaí in Kilmainham are appealing for anyone who may have been waiting at the Fatima Luas stop on the morning in question to contact them.
