Gardaí in County Donegal have renewed their appeal for information over a murder that happened 14 years ago.

36-year-old Shaun Duffy was stabbed to death at his home in Meenacross, Dungloe on January 29th 2005.

Gardaí said he returned home at around 5am that morning before he was attacked and fatally injured.

Investigators thanked those who have already provided information – but warned that they believe a number a number of people with vital information have yet to come forward.

They are urging them to "do the right thing and assist in bringing Shaun's killer or killers to justice."
