Over €750,00 worth of drugs have been seized and a man arrested in West Dublin.

As part of a planned operation officers from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and the local drugs unit carried out a search of a house in Blanchardstown earlier today.

There they discovered 300,000 Zopiclone Tablets worth an estimated €600,000 and 280,000 Diazepam Tablets worth €280,000 and heroin with estimated street value of €3,600 and Cannabis worth just over €2000.

A man in his 30's arrested at the scene is detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.
