Gardai in Dublin are investigating after reports that a number of shots were fired at an apartment complex in the city this afternoon.

The incident happened at around 1pm at the Leo Fitzgerald House in the south inner city.

The scene has been sealed off for a technical examination.

There are no reports of any injuries.
