Gardai in Dublin are appealing for the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of a 76 year old man.

George Mason was last seen in the Stillorgan area at about 5 o'clock yesterday evening.

He's described as being 5 foot 6, of slim build with grey hair and a moustache and when last seen he was wearing black trousers and maroon coloured v-neck jumper.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Blackrock Garda Station.
