A garda being questioned in connection with the leaking of information to the media has been released without charge.
The officer was detained yesterday after a probe by senior officers into complaints raised in the Roma report by the Children's Ombudsman last July.
That report was launched to examine Garda handling of the cases of two blonde Roma children who were removed from their families two years ago on suspicion that they had been abducted.
The report by then-Ombudsman Emily Logan was highly critical of information that emerged in the media the day after the incident.
The report concluded information in a written media report most likely came from inside the Garda Síochana.
The officer arrested yesterday was released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
