A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the death of an inmate in Cork Prison last weekend.

41 year old Graham Johnson died from a stab wound received during a row in the prison kitchen last Saturday.

Gardai from Mayfield arrested a man in his 30s at the prison this morning. He can be held for up to 24 hours.
