Gardai are appealing for witnesses after a crash claimed the life of a motorcyclist in Co Cork yesterday.

The 41-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, after his motorcycle collided with a car at Ballinrush near Kilworth at 4 p.m.

The man's body was removed to Cork University Hospital.

The occupants of the car were uninjured.

Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have completed their examination of the scene.
