Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a hit and run incident in Cork.
A pedestrian in his thirties was injured when he was struck by a car as he was getting out of a taxi near Kent Train Station on the Lower Glanmire Road just after 2am on Friday morning.
The car failed to remain at the scene.

The man was seriously injured and taken to Cork University Hospital.
Witnesses say the car was a grey Toyota, possibly a Statlet or a Corolla.
It's possible it left in the direction of Grattan Hill.
Anyone with any information is being asked to come forward.
