It will be a fine start to the Bank Holiday weekend, as the good weather looks set to continue on Friday.
The morning will be dry and sunny after any early mist or fog clear, but there may be a bit more cloud in places this afternoon. A few showers may develop in west Munster.
Despite that, highest temperatures of 20-23°C generally are expected, but they will be a little cooler along exposed coasts due to onshore breezes.
Tonight will be mainly dry with clear spells, and it will become cloudier in Ulster with a little drizzle developing in the east of the province overnight.
A few mist or fog patches may develop elsewhere, with lowest temperatures of 7-10°C.
