Dry in most areas early this morning with any frost clearing as cloud thickens.

Rain in the west will spread eastwards to all areas this morning.

It will clear this afternoon and evening with scattered showers following.

Highest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees with moderate to fresh southerly winds, later veering westerly and becoming strong in the northwest.

Tonight

Clear spells and showers tonight, a few of them wintry in the north.

Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees, coldest in Ulster with moderate to fresh westerly winds which will be strong near northern coasts.
