Some rain and drizzle this morning, heavy in places. But colder more showery weather will spread from the Atlantic this afternoon.
Some hail or sleet are likely, with a little wet snow on northern hills later. Strong and gusty southwest winds, will veer west to northwest with the clearance.
After a mild start, temperatures will drop steadily, with mid afternoon values of just 4 to 7 degrees.
Tonight
Cold and windy tonight.
Clear spells and occasional showers for a time, some heavy and with some wintry ones in places, especially over Ulster.
The showers will merge into longer spells of rain later tonight.
Fresh westerly winds will increase strong and gusty southwesterly later.
Lowest temperatures 1 to 5 degrees, but values will rise late in the night, as the rain becomes widespread.
